PLYMOUTH boss Mike Bowden has confirmed that his club hopes to join the Premier League next season.
The Devils have previously run at third-tier level and they have upgraded their facilities as they seek to move up, with their future to be decided at this week's BSPA AGM.
Bowden said: "It's been a successful five years, in that we've won some national trophies. We've also proved we can run a speedway club successfully and we have the support of some really good fans.
"It's cost us a considerable amount of money, running into thousands, to apply for the Premier League. But, as I've said before, the money is there for us to do that and I believe it's time for us to move on."
