WITH work well underway to create a speedway stadium at Beaumont Park we now have something tangible and physical to show for all the hard work invested by those involved to reach this stage of the project.
At present the big decisions that are currently being made revolve around the construction of the stadium and approaches. Therefore we are not yet in the true sense of the word a speedway club. Having said that we recognise that whilst the business is in its infancy, it is in fact moving at a pace and we believe that now is the time to launch an official Leicester Speedway Limited website.
You will see from the content and style that it does not have the same feel as you would expect from a traditional speedway website. This is because the website is based on the principle of a community initiative that became our core value during the early design phase for the complex. However, over the coming months as the business continues to grow along with the construction of the stadium then so too will the website. This will evolve from the appearance you see today into a vibrant and informative club website that will connect the Lions with its fan base and the wider speedway community.
